National University - Conference Services Coordinator and Regional Extended Learning Representative

Conference Services: Negotiates, drafts, develops and manages contracts between National University and clients for facility usage. Bills, collects, and deposits money from services rendered at the facility. Develops and manages the budget for the department. Creates and designs: forms, flyers and websites for new programs and events. Organizes and maintains over 200 files with confidential material. On a monthly basis produces reports and newsletters for staff and clients to keep everyone up to date. Regional Extended Learning Representative: Maintain and verify accounts receivable records and coordinate payments, invoicing and fees with University's finance and accounting department. Schedule course leaders and obtain updates/revisions of and to produce course materials; process and monitor leader/contractor contracts and payments; provide support to leaders and confirm all facility and equipment arrangements. Assist with distribution of promotional materials. Communicate regularly with Educational Services division in Torrey Pines, participating as a member of the Educational Services team.

1995-2000
National University - Regional Dean's Assistant

Had to produce newsletters, collateral materials and do research for Administration in over 5 campus locations. Help maintain and supervise different departments when needed. Create and design flyers for new programs, events and supervised the shipping. Plan, scheduled and supervised events within the Southern Region of National University. Hired and fired on the Administrative level for the Southern Region of National University. Organized and maintained over 100 files with confidential material. Organize and maintain administrative monthly reports of all actions within National University Southern Region. Handled, processed and maintained grades each month for over 50 classes from two campuses. Solve Administrative problems dealing with students, faculty and staff.


1992-1995
Chattanooga State Media Services - Technical Assistant

Handled and maintained over 30 VCR's and Beta machines. Supervised distance learning classes using microwave link-up to outlining centers. Handled satellite link-ups and downloads for 39 departments. Handled remote video shoots in a satellite truck running graphics, playback, audio and mixer. Rebuilt, wired, and maintaining the college radio station (WAWL 91.5). Designed, planned and wired the production studio for Chattanooga State Media Services department.


1988 - 1992
United States Navy - Aviation Specialist (AK)

Maintained knowledge and database of all Naval Aircraft's including the parts and manufacturer. Researched and processed requisitions for aircraft parts in 9 squadrons. Organized and maintained over a thousand technical files with aircraft records. Created and maintained Database for tracking aircraft parts during the Gulf War. Processed and shipped over a million aircraft parts and transported 3000 personnel to the Gulf War. Supervised Material Maintenance Management for S-6 department including maintenance for all computers, electronic equipment, and safety equipment within our department.
